29.01.2012 Kaiser Chiefs, Club Smith - Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff
First time for me seeing Kaiser Chiefs at a non-festival setting, having caught them at Reading in 2006 and 2009.
A full house at the Cliffs Pavilion too with their mates Club Smith in support (the drummer, Vijay Mistry, would leave the band and join the Kaiser Chiefs the following year).
While the current album The Future Is Medieval is not their best work, it was still a great high-octane show and I got a few good photos from the middle of the crowd too!
It was a kind of a special feeling for me personally as my son had recovered from a serious illness a few weeks previously and was with us tonight.
Everyday I Love You Less and Less
Never Miss a Beat
Everything Is Average Nowadays
Good Days Bad Days
Learnt My Lesson Well
The Angry Mob
Na Na Na Na Naa
Starts With Nothing
I Predict a Riot
Kinda Girl You Are
Take My Temperature
On the Run
Love's Not a Competition (But I'm Winning)
Oh My God

I think I'm meant to do an "About" here but I think you'd be more interested in seeing a random seagull.
