New venue for me. Easy place to drive to, a real pain to park at though!
This was a replacement gig that was meant to happen earlier in the year but was cancelled through illness. Bugeye are a great live band – songs and stage performance are full of energy, so I was glad to see them on a stage again.
New album hopefully out next year so hopefully more gigs will follow too.
The set ended with two songs, Comfortably Numb and Hey You. These were original songs and it’s just a coincidence that they’re both songs from Pink Floyd’s The Wall. It’s another coincidence that Hey You was the B side of Comfortably Numb when it was released as a single in 1979, right?
