Chroma, Baby Brave, Lila Zing – Tŷ Pawb, Wrexham
Another new venue and a new town to watch gigs in. Tŷ Pawb (“Everyone’s House”) is a big arts centre, where they just sectioned off a big open space with curtains and added a stage and sound system. It seemed to work!
Lila Zing is a Welsh artist whose set was very experimental. Baby Brave – a Wrexham band – were much more “indie rockers” and had a couple of great songs in their set, so I am sure I will be catching them live again at some point.
Chroma are even louder and have some really powerful tunes. Only three in the band but they really gave it some welly! I had interviewed Katie a few months ago on Zoom and it was nice to say hello and have a chat with her afterwards.
