Cars in Saint Helena
Finally, something about cars in Saint Helena, because I found this interesting!
All the cars in St Helena are given a registration number sequentially – no letters and you can’t choose any number, but you can use an old number.
So it’s good to know that the guy who owns no 1 is just a regular dude whose family got it decades ago and not some billionaire who hides it away – we saw it most days.
Most of the cars have four digit numbers. The funniest thing for me was when I was standing in the street talking to someone and a car with my PIN number drove past – I’ve never been more excited yet at the same time unable to tell people why. (Car with my PIN number not shown in the following photos).
