XFM’s “greatest” 100 songs ever

I used to love XFM. It once played great alternative music that you couldn’t hear anywhere else.

Sadly that doesn’t make anyone any money and those days are long gone, as can be reflected in XFM’s Greatest Songs Ever listeners’ poll which took place at the end of 2009.

The Killers at no 1? 9 from Oasis? 4 from Kasabian? Are there really only four songs in the world better than Sex On Fire? Did XFM twin itself with Nuts or Zoo or something and I didn’t even notice? Oh why oh why am I even typing this?
