Hurtling, Pink Haze, Petrol Boys – The Horn at the Half Moon, Bishop’s Stortford

Another new venue for me – compact and not a terrible drive either.

Was looking forward to seeing Hurtling – and they didn’t disappoint. Their recent album Future From Here is a great collection of songs in an early 90s Throwing Muses style, especially Memory Cassette which is one of my songs of the year. It was good to chat with the band too – I last saw Jon and Jen when they were part of Something Beginning With L, way back in 2012!

Support was from Petrol Boys and Pink Haze. In fact I think Pink Haze may have headlined.
