Salad, Colour Me Wednesday – Academy 2, Islington
Back to the Academy 2, a weird venue in the middle of a shopping centre where you wouldn’t expect to find a shopping centre.
I got down early to watch Colour Me Wednesday, who I saw at Indietracks a few years ago and who put on a great set on both occasions – although it seemed very different this time, maybe new band members?
This was one of the best Salad shows I have seen, if not the best. I haven’t seen a bad one, or even an average one, but they just really seemed to have it tonight. Good crowd too which helps! A great selection of new songs, album tracks and old rarities – this show was definitely a fan-pleasing one.
