Shed Seven – Scala, King’s Cross
My first visit to the Scala for seven years and a welcome visit to see Shed Seven live, touring their “comeback” Instant Pleasures album.
Before the gig I interviewed Tom and Joe from the band – was lined up to talk to Rick Witter, but BBC 6Music nabbed him!
As I was backstage I also got a chance to see the famed staircase where they shot their new album cover. Fed up of seeing it on this page yet? OK, I’ll promise no more!
I was invited by Jess from their PR company and she managed to get us a good spot on the balcony. First time I’ve had a good view at the Scala before I think! Great show – the new Shed Seven tunes are sounding really good. And we stayed around afterwards for a couple of drinks, so a great foray into London for me.
