Sea Power – Craufurd Arms, Milton Keynes

My first Sea Power gig since they made THAT announcement. Last month they changed their name from British Sea Power, to make sure they don’t attract any right-wing knuckleheads, of which there are way too many around – although never any at their own gigs or in their fanbase, so I don’t think they really had that much to worry about.

Nothing changes – still the same band, same songs, same unique atmosphere at their gigs. I went down to this one with my son – managed to get there quite late, as it’s a work day, but just about managed to catch the whole set.

And pleased with the photos too – I’ve now retired my “real” camera from small gigs like this, relying solely on my Samsung S21 Ultra phone. Goes to show you can take great pics if you’re near enough and you’ve got enough light …

I didn’t take the last one though, someone else did!
