Sleeper – Forum, Tunbridge Wells
The first date of a new tour – although the other dates are about 6 weeks away. But I’m just going by what the poster tells me.
The difference in dates may have been because the gig was part of Independent Venue Week. I picked up a free patch for some reason – I have no idea what I am going to sew it on, or when I am going to learn to sew. Looks good above my desk though.
The Forum is usually a favourite of mine because I’ve seen some good gigs here, but for some reason the heating was on the nuclear blast setting tonight, and I was close enough to a radiator to feel like I was suffering from some unknown African fever by the end of the show. This was a bit of a shame as I was unusually near the front here for once and it was a great gig – although they could have played more from their excellent recent album The Modern Age.
