Latitude Festival 2017 – Henham Park, Southwold

Bands seen: Japanese House, Superglu, Dead Pretties, Marika Hackman, Little Cub, Shame, HMLTD, Goldfrapp, Ride, Cabbage, Honeyblood, Declan McKenna, Nulifer Yanya, Idles, Gurr, Public Service Broadcasting, Divine Comedy, Dream Wife
I think this was my best-ever weekend for interviewing bands. I got to sit down with Neil Hannon from the Divine Comedy, Mark Gardener from Ride, Declan McKenna and two fantastic new bands, Dream Wife and Gurr. Everyone was lovely, no one was awkward in the slightest and I mean it!
Music-wise, sets from all of my interviewees were fantastic, except for Declan McKenna who I missed as I was interviewing elsewhere, sorry Declan! Other highlights were Idles, Public Service Broadcasting (unusually great for a main stage set), Honeyblood and Essex band Superglu.
