Los Endos – Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch

A chance for me to get to see a show at the Queen’s Theatre, who I have a good working relationship with. And since I have a sort-of new-found love of tribute acts, what better place to see Genesis tribute Los Endos?

Being able to copy Genesis at their best is no mean feat. Steve Hackett’s band come pretty close – and they have Steve Hackett in it. Los Endos gave a pretty good account of themselves – knowing the songs note-perfect doesn’t help though, as every tiny slip gets picked up. And there were a few but generally the musicianship was pretty good.

Still great to hear some fantastic versions of early Genesis songs though. Sadly my love affair with this band ended after I saw them do a racism on Twitter (the guy obviously forgot to sign out of the band account) and I stopped following them after that. Boomers, eh …
