Franz Ferdinand – Roundhouse, Chalk Farm

Amazingly only the third time I have seen Franz Ferdinand live, and only the second if I don’t count festivals, the first being almost 10 years ago

The venue was a new one on me too – although a few big bands had played there over the years the ones I am used to watching don’t usually fill out 3,300-capacity venues (except for the odd Muse or whatnot).

I’m really enjoying FF’s recent Right Thoughts Right Words Right Actions album and there was a good smattering of songs from across the years tonight. Big set – I don’t see many bands play 24 songs these days! Mazes were the support but I got there too late to catch any of their (much shorter) set.
